Srinagar: Ahead of the celebration of Independence Day, the police in the city of Srinagar launched a dozen drones for supervision to prevent unwanted incidents in Srinagar.
SDPO Ghulam Mohiuddin and Sho Muhammad Ishaq from the Kothi Bagh police station on Thursday took supplies of situations in the city which included Lal Chowk, Budshah Chowk, road residency, and adjacent areas.
Police pressed a dozen drones into services that made a round in the city of Srinagar.
DSP Wasam Mohi-U-Din said that the police continued to look for suspected people who could try to create legal problems and order more than celebrations.
He said that the search was being carried out in residential areas, rented houses, and hotels.
A police officer said that security had been enhanced throughout Srinagar after a recent grenade attack in Amira Lizard and the next arrest of a man along with two grenades directly in the heart of the city.
Some checkpoints have been made to monitor people suspected.
Officers added that all security agents have been placed on a high warning.
He said they had tightened security arrangements and instructions had been given to police personnel to maintain alertness to suspicious elements.
