Gandhinagar: With the effect of July 31, night hours will relax about an hour in eight major cities, it was decided on the core committee for Covid control on Wednesday.
The night at night will take effect from 11pm to 6 in the morning instead of 10 nights up to 6 in the morning, the government was informed.
It was also decided that hotels and restaurants can continue with eating customers up to 10pm.
The core committee also decided that the Ganesha idol in the ‘Pandal’ at the upcoming Ganeshotsav festival would not exceed the height of four legs.
Only idols that are no more than four feet will be given permission, a government statement.
Until now, 200 people are permitted to be public meetings in open plots.
The core committee has decided to increase the number of people who can participate in public meetings in open land up to 400 with the effects of July 31.
In terms of closed halls where public functions must, 50% of the capacity of the hall.
, but not preparing 400 people will be permitted, the core committee decides.
All such functions must be held with a strict Covid-19 protocol.
