COLUMBIA: Thirteen individuals were injured and a 14-year-old woman killed after many people started shooting an illegal concert at South Carolina on the weekend, police said. Researchers said a struggle started before the gunfire at a North Charleston area around 10:30 pm Saturday. They have not figured out the number of folks were still shooting North Charleston Police Chief Reggie Burgess explained. The title of this woman killed hasn’t yet been published, however Burgess prayed along with her family before speaking to colleagues Sunday in the lot where a person had put up a tiny makeshift stage in addition to a pub and meals tables at which beverages and snacks were sold. “The entire goal of this was earning money, however they left money in the expense of a lifetime,” Burgess said. The illegal concert has been advertised with flyers which promised safety. Burgess said researchers are still checking out if this safety stopped any shots. The shooting and concert occurred in a field close to a little neighborhood with twisting narrow roads in North Charleston. Community activists asked family and friends of the victims to allow police do their tasks. “We need the authorities to deal with this situation. No retaliation by friends or family or anyone,” said Thomas Ravenell of the United Black Men of Charleston County. “Those people who were there understand just how difficult it’s to get rid of a loved one and also stand idle” The police chief urged anyone with information about the shooting to call researchers and”measure up and do right with that young woman and another 14 victims” The requirements of some of these other victims weren’t published. “it is a ridiculous moment in our own lives and this planet,” Burgess said.
