Mumbai: Two masked robbers fired rounds into the Indian state bank in Dahisar West on Wednesday, killing one person.
The deceased, Sandesh Gomare, 25, is an outsourcing employee.
Two masked violators robbed Rs 2.5 lakh cash from the bank and fled.
Police Colony MHB is in the process of registering a murder case.
The incident was reported at around 3:30 p.m.
when there was no guard at the bank.
The masked people arrived on foot.
“Once the duo entered the branch, Gomare stood up.
The people let go of the round on his chest,” said the commissioner of Pravin Padwal.
The robbers then threatened the entire staff when they moved around the branch, brandishing a weapon.
They looked through the drawer before taking cash.
The camera has captured the escape duo.
The two men looked young.
The bank will close for customers when the incident occurred.
The police have begun to examine the camera from the nearby housing community and the company for instructions.
