Kanpur: A passenger of women was killed and six others was injured after the bus was upside down after crashing into a divider in Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj on Sunday.
The accident occurred after the bus, carrying 90 passengers from Haryana’s Panipat to Bihar, turned the turtle in 172 miles of stone near Mundala Village in the police area on Sunday afternoon on Sunday afternoon.
Most of the victims come from Samastipur District Bihar.
Inspector Taalgram Krishna Lal Patel said, “The injury has been treated in Tirwa Medical College and the deceased’s body, identified as Sarita Devi from Samastipur Bihar, has been sent to the morgue.
The driver and the bus waiter managed to escape from the place.” According to the police, around the clock 3pm on Sunday when the bus reached near Mundala Village on the toll road, it crashed into the divider and turned turtle.
Radheyshyam Mukhiya District Darbhanga Bihar suffered a head injury.
He said, “After the bus changed turtles, I fell unconscious and then found myself in the hospital.” The passenger said the driver was drunk.
