One killed, some houses were damaged in heavy rain

Thiruvananthapuram: One death has been reported because of the unrelenting rain pulped in the district since Saturday morning.
Lalitabhai’s body, 75, who lost since Sunday morning, was found in Parakkadavu in Neyattinkara.
Some damaged houses and agricultural losses are also reported in many regions.
Agriculture loss was reported at 0.12 hectares of land.
Three houses were fully damaged and 52 houses were partly damaged in this district.
About 16 houses in KattaKada Taluk, 14 respective houses in Neytattinkara and Thiruvananthapuram Taluk, seven houses in Chirayinkezhu Taluk and one house in Varkala Taluk was broken.
Two people were injured because of the incident related to rain in Varkala Taluk.
Tapeai Neyyar, Aruvikkara Dam and Peppara have been appointed.
Pararesiden in neighboring areas has been asked to remain in a high place.
The IMD has warned that rain measuring 64.5 to 115.5 mm will be accepted in the district on Monday and the Yellow Warning has been stated in the district.
About 19 assistance camps opened in the district on Saturday and Sunday with 427 people from 146 families now living in help camps.
Neyattinkara Taluk runs the highest number of camps with 216 people from 75 families placed in eight camps at Neyattinkara Taluk.
Five camps opened in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk with 66 people from 21 families placed in the camp.
Two camps, each began to function in Nedumangad, KattaKada and Chirayinkezhu Taluks and 51 people from 17 families were in two camps.
While 71 people from 27 families and 23 people from six families shifted to assistance camps in KattaKada Taluk and Chirayinkezhu respectively.
