Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police late on Monday in a case related to pornography.
He is a ‘key conspirator’ in this case and spends the night in detention.
Raj Kundrra, who married actress Bollywood Shilpa Shetty, will now be produced at CMM Court, also known as the Killa court.
He is likely to be served in court in the second half of Tuesday.

Police Commissioner Mumbai, Hemant Nagrrale confirmed controversial arrests in a statement that read, “There were cases registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 concerning the creation of pornographic films and published them through several applications.
We have arrested Mr Raj Kundra.
In this case on this case 7/19/21 because he seems to be the main conspirator of this.
“After his arrest, the 45-year-old businessman was taken for medical examinations to the JJ Hospital by the Mumbai Police Crime Property Cell.
After his arrest, several old tweets Raj Kundra began to viral on the internet.
His Twitter post from 2012, debated about ‘porn vs prostitution’ on a large scale distribution on social media.
In his tweet, Raj has questioned why it is legitimate to pay someone to have sex on the camera, asking how prostitution is different from porn.
He has written, “Ok so here go’s porn vs.
prostitution.
Why is it legal to pay someone to have sex on a camera? How does one different from the others ??” Raj Kundra is also trolled for his Twitter bio that reads, ‘Life is about making the right choice’.
On Tuesday, Mumbai police made another arrest in this case.
According to Ani, the branch of Mumbai Police Crime has captured one Ryan Tharp from the Nerul area, in connection with cases related to pornographic production.
