Noida: One more station – sector 148 – has been added to the number of stops for fast trains at Aqua Line from February 1, officials said.
Of the 21 stations on the phone, only four stations were left where the fast train would not stop because of the low leg.
This is sector 144, 145, 146 and 147 stations.
No Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) introduced a fast train at Aqua Line in February last year to reduce the time of commuter travel.
Initially, from 21 stations, the train would quickly pass 10 during rush hour.
In May, the Metro line was closed due to covid induced locking for almost 40 days.
When the service continued on June 9, 2021, the train quickly continued to pass 10 stations.
However, with the fall of Covid cases and because of the public demand, Metro Noida allows a fast train to stop in sector 81 stations from 2.
August and from August 31, four more stations added to the list – Sector 50, 101, 83 and 143.
July 28 , Metro Noida again reviewed footsteps at the station and decided to stop in sector 148 of February 1 “Given the popular public demand and increased development near the sector-148 station, the fast train will now stop at the station from February 1,” said Ritu Maheshwari , NMRC implementing director.
“With this, now only four stations are left where the train will continue to jump,” said NMRC spokesman.
Fast train on line aqua nmrc during rush hour – starting at 8 am and from 5pm to 8pm – at 8pm.
They did not run on weekends and on vacation carved.
While the fast train frequency is 10 minutes during rush hour from Monday to Friday, it increases to 15 minutes during non-peak hours.
