Lucknow: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Thursday said the center was moving towards creating ‘one nation, one portal’ to improve public complaints.
He said efforts were made to integrate state complaints portals with cplementary CPGRAM (centralized public complaints guide system), online systems which mainly allow submission of complaints by people who are different from the Central Government Department.
Overcoming an event here, Singh said Uttar Pradesh would be the first country in this country to have a wise governance index in the district.
Singh, the Minister of State for Personnel, along with the Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath together inaugurated the two-day regional conference with the theme “strengthening public administration institutions” here on Thursday.
Yogi Adiap, in his speech, said it would strengthen the state administrative institution and empower state civil servants in bringing development.
Singh announced that the Department of Administrative Reform and Public Complaints (DARPG) would collaborate with the Government of Uttar Pradesh in developing a good district governance index, the first for any country, at the national governance index line to improve the efficiency of governance in all districts.
He said the governance index that both for the country can be replicated in other countries also because the main mantra of the Modi government is to reach the last person in the last queue with all the benefits of the welfare scheme, statements issued by Union.

The Minister also announced that DARPG would collaborate with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for CPGRAM integration with the Portal District of Uttar Pradesh which would allow citizens to file complaints from one portal, he said.
‘One nation, one portal’ is its aim, and towards this goal, CPGRAM integration with a state complaint portal will play an important role in the complaint shift, the Minister said.
Then talking to PTI, Singh said the center worked to have one nation, one portal for public complaints.
He said this conference was an attempt to create a shared platform to share experiences in the formulation and implementation of best practices in administrative training, the development of capacity to facilitate citizen centric governance, increasing the provision of public services through e-governance, transparent, accountable and citizens of friendly administrative friendly.
Singh also highlighted the role of training in public administration and said it was important not only for administrative efficiency but also to expand the vision of officials.
V Srinivas, Special Secretary, Darpg, Srinivas R Katikithala, Director of Administrative Academy Lal Bahadur Shastri based in Mussorie (LBSNAA) and 350 officials from Uttar Pradesh participated in the prime session.
