The Onorc platform allows beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) to get subsidized meadows from Ransum stores throughout the country.

The trend also shows that there has been a quantum leap in the transaction in the last six months – from 27,000 in July to 2.3 lakh in December.
It also points to Delhi to be home to many migrants from other states and how the scheme has helped them.
Officials say go with rough calculations, each transaction involves appointment of grasslands for four beneficiaries and passes that almost nine migrants lakh have benefited from the new system in the national capital.
“Delhi began to be very late but registered one of the highest interstate portable transactions through Onorc,” Food Secretary Union Sudhanshu Pandey said.

Pandey said under Onorc there were more than 50 portable crore transactions so far throughout the country, which provided more than RS 33,000 subsidies crore through food.
