Dr.
Rahul Ghule, the founder of One Rupee Clinic, has been admitted to hospital after he consumed 30 tablets.
The doctor himself took to Twitter to inform his followers and alleged that he was under political pressure.
Earlier this month, Ghule had also alleged a threat to his life.
“I’m admitted in hospital under the stress of 30 tablets consumption due to political pressure,” said Ghule sharing his photo from the hospital bed.
Further tagging Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray, he alleged that there is nexus of political agents, some local reporters, who reportedly took Rs 29 lakh from him and insisted that he invest Rs 1 crore in Aapla Davakhana.
“Again asking 50 lacs in name of TMC officers to clear bills of Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Davakhana (sic),” he alleged.
He claimed that there are no bill payments from TMC since 6 months and that would lead anyone to take an extreme step, even consider suicide, he wrote on Twitter.
“Thane supremo knows everything..
There is no justice to me.
I have a small family.
I request don’t harass them.
Keep our hard-earned money to you all (sic),” he added.
One Rupee Clinics have been set up at various stations on Central Railway line to provide medical treatment to the railway commuters as well as the general public.
They provide subsidised treatment to people where the cost of tests and treatment are a fraction of what it would cost in a private facility elsewhere.
