Ghaziabad: India National Highways Authority (NHAI) is conducting a mandatory load test at Chipiyana robbing Delhi Meerut Expressway.
The test will take place until Saturday, after half of Rob will be opened to the public on August 30.
Rob will provide very much needed assistance to travel expressions.
This place is the main obstacle even four months after all parts 82km DME opened to the public.
“Testing the burden of the bridge is a mandatory process and is part of our safety audit.

“In Chipiyana Rob, we started the load test on Thursday.

Rob on the Hapur side to Delhi is a 6-lane stretch and will ensure a smooth vehicle movement.
“The newly built DME should provide a traffic movement without obstacles but working on Chipiyana Rob cannot be resolved because it coincides with the opening of the toll road.
This is proven to be a stumbling block because it leads to Snarls traffic,” Garg said.
“Even if half is open to the public, it will ensure a smooth traffic movement.” Rob in the middle has also been extended at 200 m towards the Delhi side.
“It has been considered after assessing the traffic influs scenario in Rob,” Garg said.
The Rob’s steel range has a width of about 470m and the length of the range towards the Meerut is around 102 million.
On the other hand, which leads to Delhi, it will be 115m.
Working in other parts of Rob, Delhi-Hapur’s side, is underway and is expected to end in November this year.
