Aurangabad: District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) for Aurangabad has decided to aggressively help efforts to encourage vaccination coverage in the district by making it mandatory for visitors to tourist attractions, such as the Ajanta-Ellora cave, to take at least one vaccine dose.
Likewise, DDMA also states that driving licenses will not be spent for people who are not vaccinated.
Previously, it has made covid vaccination mandatory for government employees, their salary failure for November will be detained.
“The Aurangabad district has slipped to 26th place in the state of vaccination.
This has reached 55% vaccination (involving the first dose) such as against the average state of 74%,” said the Aurangabad District collector Sunil Chavan, who heads DDMA.
In a command issued on Tuesday, DDMA said Aunt-ka-Maqbara, Aurangabad cave, Cave Daulatabad Fort and Pitalkhora also among the tourist hotspots where ‘no-vaccine-no-entry’directive will be applied.
