One was held to harass a tourist woman

Thiruvananthapuram: Vararkala police on Thursday arrested a 27-year-old man on charges of harassing a group of female tourists, including two foreigners and a woman from Mumbai.
The police identified the defendant as Mahesh Eedava near Varkala.
The police said that the incident was related to this case occurred on Jalan Techa Tethuvambadi on Wednesday night.
Three Women – British Citizens, French citizens and residents of Mumbai – walked along the way when the defendant who came riding a motorcycle tried to harass the population of Mumbai.
When he opposed, he harassed him orally.
One woman managed to click on the image of the defendant and her motorbike on the phone during riots.
This picture was handed over to the police along with complaints, who helped the police identify, track and accused accused in a few hours.
Varkala Police Station House Officer Inspector S Dwijesh said that the main complainant in this case was a resident of Mumbai, who had lived in Varkala for the past two months.
Complaints were received on Thursday afternoon.
Incidentally, this is the second consecutive day of this woman facing harassment.
The British resident in the group faced atrocities on the beach on Tuesday night.
According to him, a man showed a obscene movement when he was walking along the coast.
“We have registered a separate complaint in it and the search is to arrest the defendant,” Inspector said.
British residents have been here for one year.
He lives in Homestay in Varkala.
Two other women joined him two months ago.
The defendant was slapped with part 354 IPC related to the simplicity of women.
He will be produced before the court on Friday.
