Letter: One person was arrested on Monday for allegedly stabbing with the death of Juned Pathhan aged 37 years in front of his wife and three daughters at the Jilani Bridge who was busy in the letter area on Sunday afternoon on Sunday afternoon.
The arrest accusations were identified as Irfan Saiyed while four others – Azruddin Saiyed, his brother Nizamuddin alias Lala and two unknown people – were in process.
Police said that Juned was killed on personal competition with the defendant.
On Sunday afternoon, Juned, who worked with local weekly publications, was crossing the Jilani Bridge on two-wheeled vehicles with his wife Shagepta Begum and three 10-year-old girls, four years and 2.5 years old.
The defendant crashed into their car into a pathan vehicle from behind and the fifth of them fell on the road.
Before they could realize anything, four people – Irfan, Azaruddin, Nizamuddin and one unknown person – came out of the car and stabbed Juned several times.
He was taken to the hospital where the doctor said he died on arrival.
According to the police, on January 22, Shagufta Abdul Saiyed and Salman SaIyed brothers fought with their cousins Azaruddin and Iqbal Saiyed for some problems and both parties had filed cross complaints with each other.
However, the police arrested Juned Salman’s brother-in-law and one tausif and sent them to a Lajpore prison.
Juned helped his brother and Tausif get a guarantee.
Two days ago, Irfan was accused of stopping Juned and threatened him for helping Salman and Tausif get a guarantee.
