New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will overcome the state on July 29 at the completion of a one-year “transformative reform” under national education policy.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also address the event.
“NEP, 2020 is a guide philosophy to change the landscape of learning, making holistic education and to build a strong foundation for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
On July 29, on the settlement of reform 1 year under NEP, PM Shri @Narendramodi will handle it the nation,” Pradhan said on Twitter.
The NEP approved by the Union Cabinet in 2020 replaced the 34-year-old national policy on the education framed in 1986 and was aimed at paving the way for transformational reforms in schools and higher education systems.
Teaching up to grade 5 in maternal or regional language, reducing the council test bet, one regulator for higher education institutions except for medical law and college and shared entrance tests for universities is part of reform in NEP.
