OnePlus’ most powerful smartphone of 2020 gets a price cut

NEW DELHI: Last year’s most powerful smartphone from OnePlus has got another price cut in India.
Launched in April 2020, OnePlus 8 Pro has recieved its second price drop.
The company launched the smartphone at a starting price of Rs 54,999.
OnePlus 8 Pro second price cutThe OnePlus 8 Pro comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM which are now available at Rs 48,999 and Rs 53,999 respectively, after the price cut of Rs 2,000.
This is the second price cut for the OnePlus 8 Pro this year.
The smartphone witnessed a price cut of Rs 4,000 in February this year, bringing its price down to 50,999 for 8GB RAM variant and Rs 55,999 for the 12GB RAM version.
The new price is reflecting on both the OnePlus and Amazon websites.
OnePlus 8 Pro comes in three colour options — Glacial Green, Onyx Black and Ultramarine Blue.

The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB.
OnePlus 8 Pro runs Android 11 topped with the company’s own layer of customisation.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ with 1440×3168 pixel resolution.
The display is protected with a layer of 3D Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and it also comes with IP68 rating which makes it water-resistant.
OnePlus 8 Pro sports a quad-rear camera with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.78 aperture, LED Flash, 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with 119.7° ultra-wide lens and f/2.2 aperture, 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.44 aperture and 5MP colour filter camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 4150mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging (5V/6A), 30W Wireless fast charging, and wireless reverse charging.
OnePlus 8T price cutEarlier this week, OnePlus also slashed the price of last year’s launched OnePlus 8T.
The smartphone got a price cut of Rs 1,000 bringing down the starting price to Rs 38,999.
This is the second price cut for the OnePlus 8T this year.
The smartphone saw a cut of Rs 3,000 in February this year, bringing its price to Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM variant and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB RAM variant.
