Oneplus ventured into the affordable flagship segment with its new Nord series of phones in July 2020 and the OnePlus Nord was the first phone to be launched.
Within a year of the OnePlus Nord, the brand has already announced the OnePlus Nord CE and that it will launch on June 10, 2021.
But before the launch of the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the original OnePlus Nord is no longer available for purchase on Amazon India website–OnePlus’ exclusive online partner.
While on the Amazon India website, references of the OnePlus Nord are not available any longer and searching the OnePlus Nord shows results for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE, the device is out of stock on the OnePlus official online store.
Having said that, other online stores and physical stores may still have stocks of the OnePlus Nord but the device is no longer available for purchase on Amazon India.
The brand hasn’t officially revealed as to whether it is discontinuing the sale of OnePlus Nord yet.
So, there are chances that OnePlus may offer stocks of the original OnePlus Nord after the launch of the CE 5G model.
The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE will have core features of the original Nord and the pricing too will be quite similar.OnePlus Nord CE 5G can be considered as another affordable 5G-enabled Android smartphone which is expected to cost less than the OnePlus Nord.
Reports claim that the OnePlus Nord CE may come at a starting price of around Rs 22,000.
As for the specifications, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will most likely come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate along with a triple camera setup with 64MP primary sensor.
For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.
Other specs are expected to be similar to the OnePlus Nord.
