Kanpur:A two-day online international chess championship will be organised by the DPS Kalyanpur school on June 28 & 29.
Chess brains of 10,14 and 18 years will participate in this championship, said Archana Nigam, principal of the school.
She informed that Harish Rastogi will be the chief arbiter of the tournament .
On the first day, five rounds will be played on the basis of Lee chess and next day, five rounds will be played on renelo system.
Rifle shooting assn gets new VP : Nawab Saad Bin Asif has been elected as the vice president of UP State Rifle shooting association recently.
Nawab is an excellent shooter and had led the Kanpur team to gold medal win in the recently held Uttar Pradesh state shooting championship.
