LUCKNOW: Online classes resumed on Thursday at Lucknow University but just 50 percent of undergraduate students and 60 percent of postsecondary students attended.
The college was closed for the previous ten days after orders of their state authorities leading closing of academic institutes because of increase in Covid-19 instances.
The presence in postgraduate courses of mathematics departments was great, but has been reduced in trade and arts.
There was 80 percent and over presence in MSc Biochemistry and Biotechnology, data and Botany, and over 70 percent in chemistry, math and astronomy, science.
The postgraduate courses of zoology, geology and mathematics found over 50 percent presence.

Nevertheless, in trade departments, the amount of all PG pupils attending online courses was reduced with only 35 percent of pupils attending MCom (Applied Economics ) course, nevertheless in business management and economics that the presence was over 50 percent.
In arts school, the postgraduate class attendance was 50 percent in political science, social work, psychology, and cultural Indian history, but has been only 20%-25% in house science and research studies.
In the undergraduate level, the presence was much lower when compared with PG with just science departments documenting attendance of about 50 percent in BSc Botany, Chemistryand computer engineering, whilst presence in BCom and BA areas like psychology, and house science, and Arabic and Sanskrit was approximately 34%-40%.
