Mumbai: Only 24 of 314 city public vaccination centers will remain functional on Wednesday due to lack of doses.
Because the city does not receive fresh vaccine equipment from the country, only those who have the remaining dose will accommodate the drive.

Pradeep Vyas said that the state had received a limited supply of only 8.26 lakh doses in August.
Of the 24 centers, 13 will manage Covaxin and 11 will provide covishield.
On Tuesday, the dose of vaccination managed in the city fell to 43,003 where 34,725 doses were managed by a private hospital.
Supplementary City Commissioner Suresh Kakani confirmed that there would be a limited trip on Wednesday.
This is the third day in August when only a handful of public centers will be vaccinated.
Daily vaccinations in the state have also dropped dramatically.
On Tuesday, the state also only gave 3,15,691 doses of capacity 8lakh to vaccination 10Akh.
Maharashtra has given a total of 4,74,78,144 doses that Mumbai have provided 76,56,487 doses.
