Only 472 red zones in Delhi now, southeast do not have

New Delhi: The number of detention zones in the city has been reduced from nearly 58,000 less than two months ago until 472 at this time.
The southeast district is the first between 11 districts Delhi does not have a detention zone.
The Eastern District has only six, eight central and northeastern 10.
At present, the New Delhi district has the largest number of 176 detention zones, followed by North Regency which has 86 fields like that.
The southern district has 64 detention zones, Western District 35, Shahdara 34, North West 30 and South West 23.
Detention zones show where the virus is still active and needs to be stamped.
They were created to stop Covid-19 from spreading to other areas and infecting a larger population.
Initially, the red zone was large and covered the large population, but then the strategy was changed and the authorities began to create a micro detention zone, which had a smaller and relatively fewer area.
The number of detention zones witnessed a dramatic leap in the second half of April and reached 58,000 in mid-May.
Between April 13 and May 13, the average 1,700 zones were created every day.
In April, there were only 6,852 detention zones, but in 30 days the number touched 57,550.
This is also the period in which Delhi witnessed a phenomenal increase in the number of cases of Active Covid-19.
The authorities then sealed hotspots in an effort to prevent the virus from spreading.
Delhi reported 28,395 cases on April 20, the highest number of cases in one day ever.
Since then, cases began to reduce slowly.
The current number of detention zones is one of the lowest parties since the authorities began creating it towards the end of March 2020.
All residents who live in the red zone are filtered for Covid-19 symptoms and tested.
Supervision also increased in such places.
Apart from the testing strategy focused on hotspots, enforcement actions are also higher.
The red zone is excluded after 14 days if there are no new cases reported and patients recover.
An official said several districts also created a detention zone even if one case was reported.
All districts have been asked to ensure that a minimum of 50% of active cases lies within the closed area.
