Noida: With less than 48 hours for the first phase of voting in Gautam Budh Nagar, District Judge Suhas L Yathiraj on Tuesday urged voters to come out and choose in large quantities.
The district, which has more than 16 Lakh voters registered in three constituencies this time, has a percentage of voting “very little” in 2017, Yathraj stated in a letter aimed at voters.
He highlighted that only 50% of the votes were surveyed in the last two elections in the district and asked residents to “set a direct record” in 2022.
“In some of the last elections, the percentage of our district voting has been very lacking.
Especially in the constituency of the Noida Assembly, Percentage Voting is not even 50 percent.
Maybe because of many factors, “Yathiraj said, added that it was their chance to set a direct record.
“Despite struggling during the third wave of pandemic, we have managed to make a timely arrangement to ensure a secure election environment in all polling stations in this district.
Booth polls have been designed to welcome voters, especially the first voters, and make it an unforgettable experience, “DM added that it had been included in election preparation.
“Noida alone has 131 polls in which several settings have been made such as premise beauty, snacks and tea / coffee / coffee in some booths located at school,” he said.
District administration, meanwhile, has prepared a list of officials to be deployed in all polling stations, for February 10 polls.
District officials said for voting in Jiwar, voting officials will be sent from Adarsh Inter College in Dankur in February 9 February.
This site was also visited by senior officials on Tuesday, which also examined preparation at other election locations.
The health department in GB Nagar has also set up a Covid Help table at 1,840 polling booths that will have facial masks, sanitis, drug kits and ambulance services in any emergency.
Three seat assembly Noida, Dadri and Bales, will go to poll on February 10 for seven phases of election in the state.
