Hyderabad: Telangana Police can only recover 56.3% of the property lost by the victims in 2020.
Data from the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) shows that from the Lost RS 104 Crore property, Rs 58.7 Crores recovered.
It was in 2018, the highest recovery was made in Telangana when 70.6% of properties were dropped.
By 2020, of 104 cases of theft, recovery was carried out in 59 cases.
In 2019, recovery was carried out in 71 of 128 cases and in 2018, the recovery rate of as high as 70.6% with the police who managed to recover in 113 cases 161.
There was an increase in the number of cases of human trafficking registered in 2020 compared to 2019.
From 137 cases registered in 2019, there are leaps of 47 additional cases of human trafficking registered in the State of Telangana.
Meanwhile, NCRB officials found that 3,755 children lost at the end of 2020.
Overall, 7,226 people lost their lives due to an accident on the road.
Death from negligence was 6,288 cases at the level of 16.8 deaths per lakh population.
In cases that were beaten and carried out, 1,365 people lost their lives in 1,332 cases at the level of 3.5 deaths per lakh population.
In Hyderabad, 4,855 people were arrested.
Of the 2,287 this was sentenced while 2,095 was released.
The state has also recorded 16 deaths due to medical negligence and five due to negligence of civilian bodies.
175 Women died of Drow Harasment while 701, the majority of them were women, died of various forms of torture and abuse.
