Only direct hearings in Madras HC from January 3

Chennai: Virtual Audience Days end at Madras High Court which has now announced that the process will only be held directly from Monday (January 3, 2022) in both main seats in Chennai and in Madurai Bench.
“All virtual hearings on the video conference platform will remain suspended with the effect of January 3, 2022.
Explain that the hearing of cases will only go through physical mode in Madras High Court,” Read Notification from the Registration Office General, P Dhanabal.
Advocates and Padang Advocates registered are permitted to enter the high court place through all gate gate entries No.
2 (MBA gate), Gate No.
3 (Aavin Gate), Esplanade Gate, South Gate (Civil Service gate).
The entry is subject to tight compliance with security and strict Covid protocol norms.
Restrictions on the entry of Wangigants, the parties appear directly and others, except those whose presence is needed by the court concerned related to the court process and witnesses for court purposes, etc.,, continue to apply.
The bag in a high court where it will still be open from 11am to 3pm on all working days with strict compliance with the norms of hygiene protocol and covid, notice said.
This is a partial modification of the previous direction issued by the notification on November 9, 2021 in connection with the hearing of cases and the entry of Advocates and Wangigant.
However, other directives regarding the entry of advocates, broadcasts mentioned in Fiat November 9 will continue.
