Mumbai: Leader of Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Devendra Fadniv On Saturday said the one-on-one meeting with the Chairman of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray is about the OBC quota in the local body and there are no other topics discussed.
After attending the meeting of all parties on Friday, the opposition leader in the Maharashtra Assembly and Thackeray met behind the closed door for ten minutes, sparking speculation amid a raging political dispute between BJP and Sena’s verdict for the arrest of the Narayan Union Minister Rane on Tuesday for his controversial comments against Sena’s head.

“There are no other topics that appear for discussion during our meeting,” he added.
The meeting between Fadnavis and Thackeray, whose party has shared power in Maharashtra from 2014 to 2019, has produced intense political interests amid speculation that BJP and Sena leaders have agreed informally to be soft to each other especially behind the rane episode.
The all-party meeting was held at the Sahyadri Guest House from the state government here about the problem of restoring reservations for other backup (OBC) in the local government agency.
CM Thackeray said all political parties agreed to restore reservations for OBC in local government agencies and decisions would be taken in a week.
The state government tried to find a way to restore political reservations for OBC in Maharashtra after the Supreme Court read out the previous provisions.
