New Delhi: The leader of the Senior Congress P Chidambaram on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an announcement to revoke the agricultural law without holding a cabinet meeting and accused him only below the BJP that the law was made and had not been approved.
The congressional leader arrived a day after Modi at a address to the nation announced the revocation of three Agri laws that had triggered the year of protest by farmers.
“The Interior Minister praised PM’s announcement as showing ‘extraordinary heads’.
President BJP said that PM had ‘great care for farmers’.
The Defense Minister said that PM had made a decision to remember the ‘welfare of farmers’.

“Do you notice that PM makes an announcement without holding a cabinet meeting,” asked the former Union minister.
“Only below the BJP that the law was created and Unike without the previous cabinet consent,” he continued to accuse.
Hundreds of farmers have protested and camped at the Delhi border since last November with demand to revoke farmers’ (promotion and facilitation) of farmers, 2020, livestock (empowerment and protection) on the guarantee of price and agriculture of service law, 2020 and essential commodities ( Amendment) ACT, 2020, and forging new laws that guarantee MSP for plants.
The center, which has held 11 formal dialogue rounds with farmers, has stated that new laws are pro-farmers, while protesters claims the law will leave them at the mercy of the corporation.
