Tokyo: Sanjeev Rajput and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar will see to complete what is a forgotten campaign for the Indian shooting team with a positive record when they compete in the position of 50m Rifle 3 at the Tokyo Olympics here on Monday.
India, which is expected to do well in shooting, staring at the prospect of two straight Olympics without medals with only a 50m man who will leave.
For this special event, Rajput won the first Indian Olympic quota at the ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro in 2019, while Tomar secured the second quota at the Asian shooting championship in the DOHA that year, which was dominated by Indian shooters.
