Kanpur: Akash Agarwal from Mathura surpasses Aryagi from Meerut with just one centimeter and won a shot to place an open athletic championship below 23 held at Eklavya Stadium Agra on Wednesday.
Akash’s best throw has measured a distance of 17.23 MTRs and Arya’s business is 17.22 MTRs.
Ravi Sharma from Ghaziabad stands third with a throw of 16.74 mtrs.
On the second day the championship of around 145 athletes from 32 districts has appeared in events.
A total of 8 events were held and 38 of the highest throws appeared at the Javelin throw event.
After the event, medal, and diploma certificate were distributed to the winners by Laxmi Kant Shukla Vice President of the Athletic Association and Regional Sports Officer Sunil Chandra Joshi Agra.
The championship is declared closed by SVS Rathore, Athletics Athletics Athletics Association of Agra.
In all 280 athletes from 38 districts appear in two days of men & women and U-23 men & women.
Secretary of several district associations is also present in the closing function.
