Nagpur: The call to reopen the school for at least STD X and XII grew on the day, with several school associations to improve bets and issue an ultimatum to the authorities.
The reasons given by school management and academics are that STD X & XII are important years for every student, and physical teaching is very important for it.
Sanjay Tayde-Patil, President of Maharashtra English School Trustees Association (META), has issued a public statement that said that from January 17 they will reopen the school itself.
Although perhaps the pressure tactics to force the government to review the reopening plan, the reality is that this time around the school increasingly vocal about their views.
Sachin Kalbande, President of the RTE Foundation and a school guardian, said, “On Thursday, we will meet the district collector and give a memorandum to be reopened.
Our stand is clear that STD X and XII must be reopened because the council exam is less than two months .
The completion of the course is not possible in a short time unless we go for physical class.
“Kalbande added that the majority of students do not have access to online learning platforms, so keep them outside the academic loop.
“We cannot have this bias education system where only children from special classes get access.
Everyone must be able to go to school in physical mode, according to voluntary, and the decision must be submitted to local authorities.
Prohibition in all this state in the class physically wrong, “Kalbande said.
Some CBSE schools in the city also felt that turning off physical classes was not good.
Don’t want to talk to a note, at least two school principals and one Trustee says that there are many parents who want to send children to school.
“They now understand that their children are left behind in education because of online teaching.
This virtual mode is just like finishing formality, but does the child really understand something? As the principal I continue to review progress and can say that it is almost not 10% of the child Children can follow what is taught.
Besides that, they turn off the camera or mentally zone out during the classroom, “said the principal.
A trustee said that the reopening of the school had brought a much-needed fee.
“We struggle to collect costs and, fortunately, due to physical reopening, parents start paying.
In other online mode, it’s hampered,” said the guardian.
