Operational Waste Factory Rani Kheda North Corpn

New Delhi: Making arrangements to process the entire construction of construction and demolition (C & D) produced in the area, the North Delhi Municipal corporation has made the C & D Rani Kheda factory operation.
Officials claim that C & D waste has begun to come to the factory and work to process 1,000 tons of waste every day will begin as soon as the machine is set.
At present, North DMC has C & D factory operations in Burari with a processing capacity of 2,000 tons of waste every day.
“On average, 2,200 tons of waste is produced in the area every day.
From them, we can process 2,000 tons in Burari.
But we need arrangements to meet the current, as well as requirements in the future so that this factory is in the pipe for a long time, “Said a North DMC official.
“Because of the covid pandemic, the generation of C & D waste has been reduced because of fewer number development projects.
We expect the generation of waste to increase by the end of this year when construction activities are continued,” he added.
Developed through new technology, plants at Rani Kheda will be pollution free as a series of separate machines will be installed to settle dust particles and maintain semi-wet materials.
“There will be a machine installed to sprinkle water continuously and depend on the need.
This will help mitigate dust regularly.
Consider the problem of increasing dust pollution during the winter, this setting will help in utilizing all C & D waste from the road and reducing the problem Dust, “the official said.
A side product from the C & D factory will include stones, bricks, tiles and soil.
“Concession holders can sell these items to government institutions or others for utilization in various development projects.
We hope to make this project fully operational in October,” the official said.
For the convenience of the general public, the Civic Agency has identified the site to dispose of waste produced from home during construction work.
“However, for larger material, the Civic Agency asks to throw it directly to planting and pay the price too.
But people often dispose of waste on the side of the road or open sites that cause pollution and discomfort,” said the citizenship official.
