Nagpur: One of the AAPLLI bus operators – RK city bus operations – found running 19 red buses, including mini, without a mandatory fitness certificate and one without pollution under control (PUC) from the Department of Transportation.

According to information, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) operates 290 buses with 85 routes with the help of four operators – RK city bus operations, Hansa City Bus Operations (Nagpur) Limited Private Limited, city bus operations travel and Olectra Greentech.
While three operators run 94 buses, including 15 mini, Olectra only operates six special electric bus women.
A NMC official said the 18 bus fitness certificate, including 15 mini, was run by RK City bus operations expired between March and July this year.

“When the RTO office has been fully functional, the operator should renew the bus fitness certificate,” the official said.
The official also said that every red bus operator had 150 MIDI, 15 mini and several standard buses.
“Is the bus properly maintained, the operator can replace the bus which is postponed due to the end of a fitness certificate.
