Opor Protests Lack of Funds for Development Work

Nagpur: With eyes in the civil polls next year, opposition parties have started a campaign to highlight various problems against Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) that ruled BJP (NMC).
Three demonstrations led by opposition were held at the NMC headquarters in civil lines on Friday.
Corporator Neha Nikose Congress along with more than 50 residents of Prabhag number 2 (c) Chairman of the Gherao stand committee, Prakash Bhoyar for the approval of the four works worth Rs 1.8 lakh even though there are no funds available under the head.
“How can you mislead me even when I am also a member of the committee standing 16 members,” said the Congress Corporator who mayak.

Being a Canporator, every morning I face a public wrath for civilian problems that remain unresolved because of non-allocation of funds,” he said while expressing Bhoar his suffering.

“If you can’t provide the same funds for a committee member that stands, I will be limited to stop because I find it difficult to deal with voters and give negotiations with problems raised by them,” said an angry Nikose.

Thakary said it had funds intended by Bhoard for various works in the Nikose constituency.
It is the responsibility of citizenship administration to release funds for various works.
“If Superintending Engineer Ajay Pohekar said there was no funding left for the work proposed by Nikose then he had to find a written reply,” he said.
“The role of the Chairperson of the Committee continues to only approve jobs and funds.
However, it is an administrative task to make funds available for the same thing,” Thakary clarified.
Corporator Sandip Sahare Congress, Manoj Sangole, Sneha Nikose and Bhavna Lonare protested on the Terrace of the Mayor’s Office of Dayashankar Tiwari and in front of the new Administrative Building who demanded action against those who illegally destroyed Dr.
Babasaheb Bhavan in Ambazari.
BSP Corporators led by party leaders and senior corporators Jitendra Ghodeswar caused a slogan against the BJP commissioner and the city of Radhakrishnan B for discrimination for allocating funds for the development and administrative work of citizenship who supported the former.
