Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leaders have expressed solidarity with Governor Arif Mohammed Khan in his explosion of alleged political interference by the LDF government in the higher education sector and requested improvement measures to free the academic sector higher than small political grip.

“This might be the first letter like that written by the Governor for every major minister in the country.
The appointment of backdoor is rampant at the university.
Not the Minister of Chief, but the party secretary will be more suitable for the Chancellor post,” SatheMedan said.
The opposition leader said the Chairman of the Pinarayany Minister Vijayan had to react to the allegations raised by the Governor.
“People from the country want to know what CM said.
The higher education sector is sick due to the government using the university to ensure work security for political nominations and relatives of leaders,” he said.
The leader of the Senior Congress of Ramesh Chennithala said the Chancellor of Chancellor of the University of Kannur Gopinath Ravidran had to go down and the Minister of Higher Education R Bindu had to be overthrown from the Country Cabinet considering the serious revelation made by the Governor.
“Opposition has marked several anomalies in the high education sector in the past five and a half .
Meanwhile, the State President of BJP K Surendran said the strong reaction Governor Khan was a slap in front of the minister of chairman.
“The governor has exposed efforts to repeat the Pinarayi Vijayan government to weaken the Constitution,” he said, adding that all illegal promises at the university must be canceled.
“Actions must be made to all, including the Chancellor representative who conducts the government dictation to appoint relatives of the left leaders in important posts,” he said.
Surendran said BJP will provide all the support to the governor in his struggle against nepotism and corruption.
He said BJP would launch a protest program against political disorders at the university.
