Islamabad: Pakistani opposition parties on Thursday slammed the government over the increase in fuel prices.
Chairman of the Pakistan People Party (PP) Bilawal Bhuto-Zardari said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had deceived people in the country by raising gasoline prices to the highest level in the history of the country.
“When the dollar value and gasoline prices are at the highest level in history, everything is far from reaching the people,” said Head of PPP, reported dawn “billions of rupees collected from the increase in the price of petroleum products will be wasted by this unable PTI government, “He added.
Pakistan-Nawaz’s Muslim League (PML-N) Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb asked PM Khan not to mock the tribulation faced by people after the gasoline price hiking.
“Pakistanists don’t have money to buy flour and sugar for their survival and Imran want them to buy horses and bicycles,” he added.
The new price of gasoline in Pakistan will be Pakistan Rs 123.30 per liter and Diesel will be Rs 120.04 per liter after the increase.
Prices of gasoline and diesel have been carried out by Rs 5 throughout the country, reporting the news.
