Oppn target modi govt after reporting ‘india-israel’s pegasus agreement’

New Delhi: Opposition dropped hard on the Modi government after the New York Times (NYT) report claimed that the government bought Pegasus Spyware in 2017 as part of an agreement with Israel.
The NYT report signaled that spyware Pegasus and the missile system were “centerpieces” from an agreement of around $ 2 billion for weapons and intelligence between India and Israel in 2017.
The report was also called PM Narendra Modi visit to Israel in July 2017 – to become the Indian Prime Minister First visit the country.
