New Delhi: With the opposition determined to stop the parliament until the government approved the debate about Pegasus’s problem, Parliament Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the opposition parties on Friday could still seek clarification from IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on his statement.
Interacting with reporters after Lok Sabha was postponed for the day because of opposition protests, he said the government had agreed to seek clarification from Vaishnaw after he made a statement at home and these parties could still do it.
The opposition insisted that it would not refer to its protest in the parliament without the government allowed a full debate to alleged lurking in a group of people, ranging from politicians to employers and journalists, with the use of spyware pegasus.
The opposition has created a commotion at Lok Sabha when Vaishnaw made his statement on this problem.
At Rajya Sabha, a member of the Trinamool Congress has tore the paper containing a minister’s statement, forcing him to put his comments on the floor of the house.
Joshi said at Lok Sabha on Friday that the controversy was “non-problems” and that the government was ready to discuss the problems related to society.
Minister of Scenery, Information and Broadcasting Minister of Anurag Thakur accused the parties such as Congress and TMC “waste” the time of parliament only for politics.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the government was ready to discuss different problems.
We want the opposition to improve things related to people and the government will answer.
It is unfortunate that some opposition members have created a commotion, tearing up paper and throwing them in chairs and ministers , “he told reporters.
