Opposition parties protest rising fuel prices

Gurgaon: The opposition parties on Friday hit the streets against the state government over the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinders.
In separate demonstrations held across the city, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party members took out marches and condemned the ruling BJP-JJP coalition for rising inflation.
The opposition politicians reminded the people that since May 4, the prices of fuel have increased at least 23 times, which has had a cascading impact on the prices of essential commodities.
They warned the ruling coalition of more intensified protests in days to come, should it fail to help people.
Members of the district unit of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee held demonstrations outside a petrol pump near the police commissioner’s office and in Sector 15-part 2.
