OpSC Recruitment 2021: The Process Starting for Recruitment 320 Professor Associates at State University

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published advertising for recruitment to the Associate Professor’s posts at the state public university which functions under the Ministry of Higher Education.
As many as 320 related professors will be appointed this time.
It is a breath for universities that face many problems because of lack of faculty members.

The application was invited to this post in 50 subjects including English, physics, anthropology, zoology, law, economy, Dharma Shastra, Advait Vedanta, Nyaya, Veda, Sarva Darshan and Viarang.
Of the 320 associations processors, the University of Ravenshaw Cuttack will get the highest share (52 teachers) followed by the Utkal University (44), Reliated University (36), Rajendra University Balangir (36), University of Bhawanipatna (32) University, Rama Devi Women’s University of Bhubaneswar ( 28), Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University Baritada (27), Gangadhar Meher University of Sambalpur (22), University of Sambalpur (20), Fakir Mohan University Balasore (14) and Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University Puri (09).
OPSC has started the recruitment of assistant professors for 12 state universities.
“In November last year, we have requested Opsc for the appointment of assistant professors.
This process is underway, and we will get a fresh professor assistant batch after a few months,” said an official of the Ministry of Higher Education.
Previously, the recruitment of university teachers was carried out by each university.
But the state government has changed the Law of the University of Odisha, 1989 last year and decided to do teacher recruitment through OPSC.
