Optional Exam will be in September or October: TN Education Min Min Min

Chennai: Optional exams for class XII students who are harmed by the evaluation system and supplementation tests for private candidates will be carried out in September or October, the Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi told reporters on Monday.
“There are 39,000 personal candidates who register to take the exam.
The Directorate of Government Examination will, within a few days, open the online application process for students who are not satisfied with the sign.
Based on these numbers, a separate exam will be carried out in September or October, depending on Covid-19 situation, “said Minister after releasing the results of class XII.
The exam mode will be decided after consulting with experts, he added.
He further said class X Marksheets will mention all passes in the column showing the sign.
Responding to requests, the minister said 1.08 Lakh students had switched from the private sector to the government school this year.
At the receipt of RTE, the minister said the school education department had received more than 36,000 applications so far.
The last date to be applied was August 3.
He also said the school education department had not yet decided to split the academic year into two CBSE.
