Jammu: The alleged drone was seen near the Army area on the outskirts of the city of Jammu on Friday night, hours after police J & K fired Hexakopter Ied-Laden in Akhnoor.
Around 8:25 pm, the object flies with a white light flashing, it looks floating in the Kaluchak area under the jurisdiction of the Gangyal Police Station.
“The drone suspected of flying around 150-200 m above the ground and looks for one minute before it seems to move towards Ratnuchak Village.
Warning sounds and the area is recorded,” said a source.
Previously on Friday, the police Jammu shot down drones with Ied ready to use 5kg in Akhnoor.
At the press conference later, Jammu Adgp Mukesh Singh has revealed that the Utas found in Hexacopter fits those who use flying objects used to carry out twin bonds at the Jammu Air Force station on June 27, which made two IAF personnel injured.
He added that in the past half a year, J & K police have so far restored 16 Rifles AK-47, many magazines, 15 grenades and 18 IEDs were lowered from Pakistan.
