Hyderabad: Police on Friday arrested four people, including the Covid-19 data entry operator to publish false vaccination certificates in the old city, the third racket as it was broken in one week.
The investigator said they also investigated the role of primary health staff and data entry operators in fraud, which could have a wider network.
Last week, two separate racquets in providing a false negative RT-PCR report without testing and a fully vaccinated certificate without Jab was brought by the commissioner’s task force.
Six people, including the central owner of the diagnostic, primary health care center staff, travel agents and others were arrested in issuing fraud certificates as well.
At the time of Covid-19 cases and seasonal fever on the rise, the police Kalatatthar arrested four to publish a false vaccination certificate without Jab to 1,000 bribes per person.
Some cellphones, aadhaar cards, and fake certificates are restored from their ownership.

Biksham Reddy, ACP Charminar, said Mohammed Saif, 19, a resident of Ali Bagh, Kalatatthar, Mohammed Misbaullah Shareef, 22, resident of Ali Bagh, Mohd Aslam, 21, resident of Shaheen Nagar and Mohd Fareed, 22, Resident Wadi-e- Saleeheen was arrested by red hand following a tip to the police about the racket.
Accused of Mohd Saif, working as a data entry operator with the Covid-19 vaccination center in Madhava Reddy Community Hall, Saroonagar, who used to issue a vaccination certificate without Jab by receiving Rs 1000 of people.
“Mohd Saif, worked as a data entry operator at the Covid Vaccination Center in Saroonagar, along with his friends hatching plans and trapping those who want to obtain a vaccination certificate without taking Jab,” Reddy said.
With the government make it mandatory for vaccination certificates in medical emergency cases in certain hospitals, gangs take advantage of such people and approach them for a forging vaccine certificate by paying money, “Reddy added.
Many people in the old city, according to the police are also reluctant to take vaccines, the side effects that are afraid and may push the racket, the health department official said.
Police said they had identified eight people who bought certificates, officials said.
