According to the police, the man was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the case of peddling drugs and when he came out of prison because of parole in 2012, he got his documents forged and began to live with different identities.
The defendant has occurred identified as Ranveer Singh from Jodhan, who has lived in Bhai Himmat Singh Nagar from Dugri for the past few years about the false identity of Sandeep Singh.
The police have restored four passports on behalf of Sandeep Singh, one passport of his wife Sukhjeet Kaur where he claimed to be the wife of Sandeep Singh, three aadhaar cards, two Pan cards, debit cards, SBI passbooks, and weddings, birth certificates and ammunition schools.
In the case of 90kg poppy husk, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The defendant was married and had three children.
In 2012 when he came out due to parole, he decided not to return to prison.

Sandeep has a class X certificate without a photo and he gives it to Ranveer to create other ID documents.
By using the certificate, Ranveer gets all the other IDs made with the photo and make a new identity as Sandeep Singh.
He also managed to make his passport.
The passport is original, but his identity is fake.
“ACP (crime) Pawanjit added,” said Ranveer he planned to escape abroad with his family.
The police are now looking for the original Sandeep Singh, who live with other men’s identity.
This is a big fraud and the involvement of public servants can not be ruled out.
There is also the possibility that the defendant has helped others also in making a fake passport.
