KABUL: Money from the United States government for Afghan wars ensure billions of dollars for military contractors, which in turn gave encouragement to US defeat in Afghanistan because of conflict became a business, according to the Wall Street Journal report (WSJ).

The monopoly of small companies also produced billions of dollars with efforts, including training Afghan police officers, building roads, establishing schools and providing security for Western diplomats, WSJ reports said.
The WSJ report said the military outsourcing meant the US Department of Defense spent USD 14 trillion for war in Afghanistan and Iraq which began after September 11, 2001.
Meanwhile, a large amount of money was spent on war efforts and rebuilding Afghanistan after years of conflict stated the ability of the US government for Veterinarian contractor and ensure money spent as referred to, according to WSJ.
The report also quoted several US military officials who said that outsourcing for contractors was very important for operations.

The Taliban reacted to the report and said that despite pouring a large amount of money to Afghanistan, the country had not yet been rebuilt.
“A lot of money was injected into Afghanistan but was not used for development.
The former government was very weak,” said Inamullah Samangani, a Taliban spokesman deputy.
US special inspectors for Afghan reconstruction in a survey found that only 15% of USD 7.8 billion, which was intended for development projects, was spent.
Finally, “one third of up to half of” USD 14 trillion in war costs in Afghanistan and Iran “went to the contractor”.
The use of American military contractors stretched back to the Revolutionary War, when continental soldiers depend on private companies.
During World War II, for every seven service members, one contractor served war efforts, according to the Congress Budget Office.
In 2008, the US had 187,900 soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq, the peak of its spread, and 203,660 contractor personnel, according to WSJ.
