New Delhi: The Delhi Government again sent files to the formation of a high-level committee to investigate the death of oxygen in the city during the second Covid wave to the Governor of LT Anil Baijal, said Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia, Monday.

Data will be sent in parliament, the news agency Ani reported the quoted source.
It came a few days after the government told the parliament that there was no death because Tosoodia said he had also written a letter to the Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah about the oxygen crisis in the national capital during the second wave and urged him to direct LG to approve the formation of the committee.

“The center and court want to know the number of deaths due to lack of oxygen.
But it is not possible to ensure the number of people killed due to lack of oxygen during the second wave.
So, I have sent back files related to the establishment of the Committee to investigate the death caused by the oxygen crisis to LG , “said Sisodia.
“I hope that the permission will be given soon,” he added.
Sisodia previously said Baijal did not give approval for the establishment of a committee to investigate the death of oxygen and the compensation for RS 5 Lakh awards to families who died of lack of oxygen.
The national capital has been rolled under a brutal second wave of Covid who claimed some life with the oxygen crisis and lack of beds to add to the people’s misery.
