New Delhi: Deputy Chair of Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia said Wednesday the Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya had told them that no need to form a panel to investigate deaths related to the lack of oxygen in the national capital is a task unit appointed by the Supreme Court is there to see this problem .
Sisodia said he had written to the Minister of Health of the Panel formation.
Delhi LG Anil Baijaal has twice rejected the city government request to form a panel, he said.
“The Minister of Health has written to us saying that there is a task force appointed by the Supreme Court to investigate this problem and say no need to panel probe.
But the task force has a mandate to investigate demand and supply problems for pandemics,” he said in online briefing.
Mandaviya has said that of 12 points for reference to the SC panel, five related to oxygen, Deputy Chief of the Minister noted and showed that none of these five points were related to death related to lack of oxygen.
“Great fraud like that never happened in the country.
If the designated panel scovered by investigating death, why the center asked the state to provide data about the fatality regarding oxygen,” said Sisodia.
The Center does not want an investigation into death due to lack of oxygen because the truth of their negligence will come out, he accuses.
