Ghaziabad: Largesse private companies in providing oxygen generating factories at the Health Center in Ghaziabad have caused the district government to think of increasing the capacity of his bed.
The 333 LPM oxygen generator factory became functional at BHOJPUR PHC on Wednesday.
Because the factory capacity is much larger than the 10 beds in the hospital, the Ministry of Health now plans to improve medical facilities to the level of public health center (CHC).
Officials say the 20 additional beds will be made for this purpose.
Previously, a factory from a capacity of 250 LPM was proposed here, but a private company, Dabur, which built it through its CSR funds, bought a bigger one.
At one point in time, the Ministry of Health even thought of moving it to a larger medical facility but then changed his mind.
Officials say BHOJPUR PHC includes a population of one lakh and CHC will prove to be more useful.
The plan to increase PHC has been in the pipe for some time.
The head of the Medical Officer Dr.
NK Gupta said, “Given the preparation for the third possible third wave, the third oxygen factory was launched in the district on Wednesday.
At present, there are 10 beds in PHC and four doctors deployed.
Preparation for increasing 20 more beds , After 10 beds will be provided for children.
Along with this, the number of doctors will also increase.
“” This unit will not only help meet the oxygen needs in the city but will also be able to meet the emergency that arises from the third wave Maybe, “said Dabur India (CSR) Sudhakar.
CMO said that on July 15, four oxygen plants will begin in the district.
