Panaji: Former Minister of Union P Chidambaram along with other AICC observers will arrive at Goa on October 9 for a five-day visit to Goa on Saturday, the first visit since the former Main Minister and Navelim Mla Luizinho Faleiro stopped and joined the Trinamool Congress.
Chidambaram, along with a cave table responsible for Dinesh Gundu Rao will tour various constituencies and interact with active congress members.
On Saturday, Chidambaram and Rao will meet with active members in Canacona at 4 pm followed by a similar meeting in Velim at 6pm.
On Sundays, Chidambaram and Rao will interact with active party workers in the Benaulim, said Vice President of the State Congress M K Shaykh.
With the congress who confirmed that the alliance with the same-minded parties was in an office, the deliberations of the Benaulim, Canaacona, Tivim and Aldona will be closely monitored by party supporters and other political parties.
Chidambaram and Rao are expected to hold a meeting at Mandrem and Siolim on Monday, in Aldona and Mapapa on Tuesday and in Mayem and Tivim on October 13.
Both of them will also meet with the Youth Congress Executive Committee, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and Nsi during their visit.
They will also interact with office carriers and head departments.
