Mexico City: PAN American Health Organization (Paho) said on Wednesday there was an advanced talks with vaccine makers to buy additional Covid vaccines for their member countries, to complete bilateral, dosage, and doses that they received through the Covax mechanism.
Paho has reached an agreement with the Chinese vaccine maker Sinovac, and expects to sign a new agreement immediately to buy vaccines with emergency approval of emergency use from other suppliers for 2021 and 2022, said Paho Director Carissa Etienne said.
