Islamabad: Pakistan never avoids condemning other countries for cruelty towards the Muslim community but the country itself remains non-commitment to the issue of human rights violations Uyghur in Xinjiang.
The increase in China’s economy and the presence that grew in Pakistan because his investment specifically in the economic corridor of Pakistan China (CPEC) has provided an unprecedented scope to remove the ‘transnational repression’ in the country including human rights violations and the persecution of the Uyghur minority in Xinjiang Region, Reported International Think International Tank Forum for Rights and Security (IFFRAS).
The Chinese government has included Pakistan on the list of Xinjiang Uyghur (XAR) autonomy from 26 black countries.
Blacklist means those who have contact with anyone or visit or have any family ties or communication in these black countries cannot be trusted and will remain under the XAR authority radar, report think tanks.
In particular, for years Pakistani and Uyghur citizens have faked marriage because there has been cross-border trade involved between the two countries on Jalan Raya Karakoram.
In one of the incidents in Pakistan, Sikandar Hayat and Ghulam Durrani were separated from their wives who happened to become Uyghurs.
The wives were detained in XAR by the Chinese authority when they visited there.
Furthermore, the son of Hayat who went to support his mother at XAR could not meet his father for two years.
Furthermore, Durrani’s wife continued to survive since 2017.
In a cruel episode that was very surprising exposing the insensitivity and involvement of Islamabad in “Repression,” Pakistani security forces deported 14 Uyghur Islamic students who were suspected of being terrorists by China.
After being handed over to China, the authorities mercilessly killed all students on the border.
The international community has been vocal enough about the treatment of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang and recently, the French Parliament slams the “genocide” of China from Uyghur Muslims on Thursday, in resolutions that can relate between Paris and Beijing only two weeks before the winter of the Olympics .
This resolution also urged the French government to protect ethnic minorities in the Xinjiang region and take “the steps needed in the international community and in their foreign policy towards the People’s Republic of China”.
About 60 Uyghur was deported or imprisoned by Pakistani security forces until 2014.
Following riots in Urumchi, a large number of Uyghurs tried to get out of China through Pakistan to Turkey.
Uyghur-Uyghur was arrested by Pakistani officials on their route to Turkey and deported.
In one example, five innocent Uyghurs were deported to China from Baluchistan in 2010, despite the fact that they had no relationship with any terror group.
